Reparations Plan

At Neurodiversity Labs, I recognize that chattel slavery and the theft of Indigenous land created deep, lasting inequities that continue to shape access to wealth and opportunity in the United States. Generations of systemic exclusion and racist policies have prevented Black and Indigenous communities from building and passing down wealth, while those of us who benefit from these systems have a responsibility to act toward repair.

Reparations, to me, mean returning resources and supporting efforts that restore wealth, land, and dignity to Black and Indigenous people. This includes making financial contributions, sharing labor and knowledge, and maintaining relationships built on respect and accountability.

What I Practice

  • I dedicate 5% of net sales to reparative giving.

  • I prioritize direct payments to Black and Indigenous individuals and families.

  • I also contribute to community-led organizations, including, but not limited to:

    • Critical Resistance

    • The Sogorea Te’ Land Trust

    • The Frederick Douglass Family Initiatives

Accountability and Continuity

This plan evolves through ongoing conversations with Black and Indigenous peers and advisors, whose insights guide my approach. I compensate people for their time and experience, and remain committed to learning and acting with integrity as this work continues.

Make it stand out.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
